Will the gold plating wear off?

We use 18K Gold Plating over solid S925 Sterling Silver. It is designed for durability, but we suggest removing it before swimming or showering to maintain its shine.

Is it comfortable to type with?

Yes. The bar design sits on top of your wrist, while the underside is a smooth chain. It is lightweight and comfortable for office work.
